State is good. Classes sort of suck, but I guess it's not that big of a deal. My roommate is really nice and ridiculously outgoing so we meet lots of people. Plus I think she knows roughly half the student body so that helps, too. And a lot of them are (cute) guys, so that's pretty awesome, even if they basically all have girlfriends (what up with that?). My suitemates are really nice too. One is a sophomore and so she introduces us to her friends. We have a little group going on our floor and they're all pretty cool except one girl is crazy obsessed with guys and is always talking about a new one. My RA is pretty awesome too and I really like her.
It's just weird because they're not really like me at all. They like hip-hop & pop & going out & getting wasted. So that's awkward. They talk about it and I just sort of sit there and am like "Oh I know, right?" So I miss being able to listen to my music whenever or being sarcastic and people getting it, but it's alright I guess. I'm not as uncomfortable as anyone who knows how much I like to be alone would think.
I feel like everything is so different. I am always around these girls who party and eating dinner with football players. I don't know how the hell this happened. It's insanely surreal, but I don't feel that different. I just know I don't really wanna go home.
