"If there's a prize for rotten judgement, I guess I've already won that"

A Drop In The Ocean - Ron Pope

That is an amazing song, for the record. You will love it, promise. Musically things are not too bad.

As for everything else... I still don't know where I stand. Every day I can see more and more why I should just walk away. And sometimes I believe that I can; that I am. But for some ungodly reason every time I see him all of that slips away. And last night, for a little while, it seemed like maybe I was a little bit right and it felt like before. And I really liked it. And then....it slipped away, of course. And so did he?

Everything seems worse at night when the room is spinning so you can't close your eyes. I tend to overreact.

But whatever I think I heard last night...whatever it sounded like I was walking in on...that gives me enough hope to keep driving me mad. And my dreams, too.

I don't wanna waste the weekend
If you don't love me, pretend.
A few more hours then it's time to go
As my train rolls down the East coast,
I wonder how you'll keep warm.
It's too late to cry, too broken to move on.

Still I can't let you be,
Most nights I hardly sleep
Don't take what you don't need from me

A drop in the ocean
A change in the weather
I was praying that you and me might end up together
It's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert,
But I'm holding you closer than most
